Cups of Cheer

Our members donated coffee cups, tea cups and small containers which we filled with fresh plant material. One of our member’s place of employment donated 5-gallon buckets of flowers and greens. We were able to create 31 arrangements (3 laundry baskets full) which were then distributed at Kirkland Crossing in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This is a senior living center which has independent, assisted, skilled nursing and memory care units. The residents were thrilled to get a fresh flower arrangement during this bitter cold season.
We hope to continue this project through out the upcoming year. It was so rewarding to see the smiles on the resident’s faces. Come join us in this worth while project.
